Notes

  • This district is a multi-use public plaza, not a general development site. Only Park, Protective and Emergency Service, and Utilities are permitted (s.1278); everything else (Food Kiosk, Outdoor Café, Retail and Consumer Service as market sales, etc.) needs City approval and must be small-scale.
  • As a riverfront district, buildings must not be located within 35.0 m of the top of the Bow River's south bank, with a limited Outdoor Café exception (s.1224). This cannot be checked from parcel geometry alone; verify against the river's actual location on site.
  • Restaurant public area capped at 150.0 m² (s.1281.1); Retail and Consumer Service limited to market sales by multiple vendors (s.1281.2).
